The Daily Grind opened it's doors as Statesboro's first coffee shop in February of 2000. Often referred to as "The Cheers of The Boro". It's a place where the baristas know your name and order before you get to the counter and are thankful to serve each and everyone of you. Other than ownership, not much has changed at The Daily Grind. The current owners, Liz Anderson and Rebecca Wildi have been apart of the family since its inception. They bought this gem, in the heart of downtown Statesboro, together in September of 2012, from Rhonda Rodewolt. It is a cozy home away from home for students and locals alike. Tucked away on the corner of historic Savannah Avenue and Zetterower. The Daily Grind is a great place to meet up with friends, old and new. To have long conversations, to study all day, sit outside in the shade over iced coffee or read a good book in a quiet space. We are grateful to provide the community with quality coffee, freshly ground, hand tamped espresso beverages in almost any flavor you can imagine! From candy bars to fruity flavors. All made with freshly steamed milk of your choice. Try our popular, freshly brewed iced coffee, frapp's, smoothies and Italian sodas. You can even add a clean unflavored protein powder to your beverage! Our unique lunch menu includes sandwiches you won't find anywhere else! As well as fresh salads, winter soups and more.
